The cargajo, a quiver like basket that holds the blowgun darts (biruta).The Yagua quiver (Cargajo) is made from catirina tree that can be either the palm Orbignya or Scheelea. Darts are made from the inayuga palm, Maximiliana, a plant bristling with needles and thorns. The Yagua use the chambira palm nut as the container for the kapok cotton. Yaguas occasionally attach a jawbone from the piranha fish to the quiver, used to sharpen the darts.
