Egypt - Necropolis of Giza and Saqqara

Saqqara is a vast and fascinating, ancient burial ground in Egypt, serving as the necropolis for the Ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis. The ancient ruins in the Memphis area, including Ṣaqqara, Abū Ṣīr, Dahshūr, Abū Ruwaysh, and the Pyramids of Giza, are collectively designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
